This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, women across Canada are being reminded to stay 'breast aware'

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, so be sure to pay attention to your body, and if you notice a change or an abnormality in your breast, contact your healthcare provider.

Dr Alexandra Ginty with Cancer Care Ontario says another big factor in keeping yourself safe, is to be aware of your family history.
