Huron County are looking for tips after back-to-back break, enter and thefts took place earlier this week at Clinton Raceway.

The raceway located on Beech Street was broken into twice, the first incident taking place on Tuesday (August 8th) and the second the night after.

Police say sometime during the early morning hours suspect(s) forced entry into the raceway grandstand through an exterior window on Tuesday. Once inside the facility the thieves proceeded to fill garbage bags of empty beer cans. A total of 71 cases of empties were stolen in addition to taking six 40-ounce bottles of liquor.

The night after, it's suspected that the same thieves returned forcing entry into the grandstand once again this time stealing 10 cases of beer and twenty 40-ounce bottles of liquor as well as a case of coolers and more cans.

The estimated value for the stolen alcohol and empties is approximately $2000 dollars.

Any person with information regarding these incidents should immediately contact Huron OPP or Crime Stoppers.
