MONEY ON THE WAY ONCE AGAIN

There's a back-story to last week's much bally-hooed 2.8 million dollar announcement for facilities at South Bruce Grey Health Centre facilities in Kincardine, Walkerton, Chesley and Durham; the money is partly a repackaged proclamation from 2016. SBGHC Chief Executive Officer Paul Rosebush takes the acknowledgment of the exceptional circumstances grant as helping build the case for his proposed major overhaul of Kincardine Hospital.

The CEO is advancing a strategy of three separate ten million dollar allocations that could extend the life of the present site twenty or more years.

Rosebush had initially observed that a decision on the Kincardine Hospital renovations might be put off until the next Provincial Election cycle.
