A new attraction officially opened yesterday (Wednesday) to educate the public about all aspects of EV.

The Electric Vehicle Discovery Centre is located near York University in Toronto. (1126 Finch Ave. W., Unit 1, North York)

Bruce Power Media Relations Spokesperson John Peevers says that the nuclear provider and Plug 'n Drive have been working together since 2013, partnering on the installation of several EV charging stations across the region, raising awareness, and developing an interactive smartphone app.

He says the 'Bruce Power' app is free to download for iPhone or iPad, and coming soon to Google Play.

Plug 'n Drive's Electric Vehicle Discovery Centre, which Bruce Power has supported with a $150 000 commitment over the next three years, offers visitors the opportunity to test drive EVs, learn more about them, and connects them with local dealers.
