You might need a drink to wash down this bad news..

The Huron County Health Unit wants county residents to be aware of how much they're drinking.

Research shows that 42% of Huron County residents drink enough to pose a risk to their health.

In response, The Health Unit has launched a campaign called 'Rethink Your Drinking.'

Laura Edgar, Public Health Promoter with the Huron County Health Unit says that when it comes to alcohol portions, size matters.

The national low-risk drinking guidelines are pretty relaxed.

It suggests a woman should have no more than two drinks a day and men should not have more than three drinks a day and that should be five days a week maximum.
