Police say over the weekend, the machine was stolen from a hunting camp in Central Huron on Blyth Road east of Auburn. The theft took place between midnight on November 10th and 10 AM on November 11th.

SAUGEEN SHORES CONSTABLE AWARDED FOR LIFE SAVING EFFORTS

Saugeen Shores constable Laurel Hopkins has been awarded the Silver Level Lifesaving Award, courtesy of St. John's Ambulance. The officer administered naloxone to two individuals she deducted were overdosing on opioids, and in turn saved their lives.

Hundereds gathered at the Kincardine legion Sunday morning for Remembrance Day. This year is the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended World War One. A service was held indoors to begin the day, where attendees were able to pray and sing together.

PARKING AT THE NORTH HARBOUR IN GODERICH AN ISSUE

Illegal parking near the North Harbour in Goderich continues to be an issue, so council is attempting to mitigate the situation. CAO Larry McCabe said there are limits to how long people can park in that area and those limits are being exceeded.

The annual United Way Perth-Huron campaign is underway and going quite well. Executive Director of the Perth-Huron United Way Ryan Erb says the goal of this years campaign is $1,446,625 dollars. Erb says the campaign has hit a big milestone.

POSTAL STRIKES CONTINUE LOCALLY

As negotiations between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers continues, so do rotating strikes locally. Strikes began in Owen Sound and surrounding Tuesday, including in Kincardine where the post office doors are locked up.
