GODERICH SAILORS SET TO REJOIN WESTERN JUNIOR C HOCKEY LEAGUE

After a one year hiatus, the Goderich Sailors Junior C Hockey Team are returning to the Ontario Hockey Association. In a release sent out by the OHA today, the league announced its board of directors has approved the return of the team for the 2014-15 hockey season.

UNIT 7 AT BRUCE B GENERATING STATION UP AND RUNNING AFTER MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

After it was shut down for maintenance, Unit 7 at the Bruce B Generating Station is back in service. Bruce Power officials say the two-month long maintenance program set up the unit to deliver low cost reliable electricity and $75 million was invested in the program by the company.

A 15-year-old Kincardine youth faces several charges after police say they were caught driving a vehicle. South Bruce OPP say they stopped a Blue Toyota for a stop sign violation on Broadway Street in Kincardine around 12:30 last Wednesday afternoon, police discovered the driver was 15.

South Bruce OPP are looking to the public for help after the Kincardine Harbour marina office was broken into. A report of a break in at the office came into police around 7:15 last Friday night, it was revealed that sometime between 5:00 p.m. last Thursday and 7:00 p.m.

The Mission Zimbabwe annual sugar bush family easter breakfast was a huge success. Organizer Barry Mutrie tells myFM says that more than 600 people came out to the Cedar Rail Camp near Chesley and it was the children who were the stars of the show.
