Officials say the current levels are 15 centimetres above the long term average and 55 centimetres above where the levels were at this time last year, the increasein levels is being credited on a solid snow cover back in April and a good snow melt that featured a good seasonal rise.

The forecast is calling for temperatures that will be cooler than normal on Friday, the average temperature for this time of the year is around 10 degrees but we could see the temperature dropping to around 3 or 4 degrees when the kids head out between 5:30 and 7 p.m.

A coroner's inquest is to be held into the death of a 46-year-old man at a hospital in Southampton. Christopher Coffey was in the custody of Saugeen Shores police when he died in June 2013 at the Grey Bruce Health Service Southampton site.

HEALTH UNIT LOOKING FOR THE OWNER OF A DOG INVOLVED IN A BITING INCIDENT

The Grey Bruce Health Unit is searching for the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident in Kincardine. In a release, the unit says around 9:30 Monday morning a man walking on Huron Terrace where it becomes Penetangore Row was bitten by a dog being walked by a young male.
