POLICE SEEKING ASSISTANCE LOCATING MISSING PERSON

Yesterday (Monday, May 22nd, 2017) at 3:27pm, the South Bruce OPP received a missing persons report on 26-year-old Shawn Lamont of Hanover. He was last seen walking eastbound on McGivern Street in Walkerton just prior to the report.

Organizers are gearing up for the 2nd annual Handbags for Hospice Gala in Clinton. Kailyn Pasma, a board member with Huron Hospice, says last year's even saw 200 people attend and $25 000 was raised for Huron Hospice volunteer activities.

O'NEILL BAIL DENIED

Huron Township resident Glenn O'Neill has been remanded in custody. The 29 year-old, who had been the subject of a week-long manhunt on weapons offences had a scheduled bail hearing Thursday, where the application was denied.
